The Soaking Furnace Cover Lifting Machine is auxiliary equipment for metallurgical soaking furnace systems. It opens, lifts, moves and closes furnace covers during billet or forging loading and unloading. It replaces manual cover handling in high-temperature areas and supports safer, more continuous furnace operation. The equipment is typically used with pit-type soaking furnaces in rolling mills and can work alongside overhead cranes for billet charging and discharging.
Lifting hooks are matched to the cover lifting lugs and the required handling path.
The arrangement is designed around the furnace, cover and rolling-mill operating sequence.
Remote control, PLC control and HMI operation can be specified as needed.
