Product overview

Mill selection built around the grinding duty

Changzheng's mining mill range includes autogenous mills, semi-autogenous mills, overflow-type mills and air-swept coal mills for mining, metallurgy, cement and power applications. These mill types serve different process duties, from grinding ore and mineral raw materials to preparing pulverized coal. Selection depends on the feed material, particle size, required product fineness, throughput and wet or dry process conditions.

Grinding ConfigurationMill type, operating mode and drive matching are defined for the selected process.
01 / Mill SelectionDifferent mill types for different duties

Autogenous, semi-autogenous, overflow and air-swept coal mills form part of the product range. The selected mill type must match the material and its role in the production line.

02 / Autogenous GrindingCoarse-feed processing where suitable

The catalog describes autogenous mills for run-of-mine or coarsely crushed ore, combining crushing and grinding within one process. Suitability must be assessed for the intended ore and feed conditions.

03 / Process ConfigurationWet and dry grinding options

The listed models include wet grinding, dry or wet grinding, and a dry air-swept coal mill. The operating mode is specific to the selected model and material.

04 / Drive CoordinationEdge drive with model-specific matching

The published technical table specifies edge drive for its listed models. Main motor power, motor speed and reducer selection vary by specification and must be matched as one transmission system.

Technical Configuration

Selection data, presented clearly.

The following data summarize the published Mining Mill model table, which covers grate-type and overflow-type configurations together with an air-swept coal mill. Values vary by model, material and grinding conditions. Capacity is listed against a fineness reference of less than 8% residue on a 0.08 mm sieve; it is not a guaranteed throughput for every feed material.

Listed Mill Diameter1.2–3.6 mNominal diameters from the published diameter × length specifications.
Listed Mill Length2.2–9.0 mAvailable lengths are tied to individual specifications; not every diameter and length combination is listed.
Effective Volume4.4–52 m³Range across the models in the published technical table.
Capacity1.4–120 t/hModel- and material-dependent; published fineness reference: less than 8% residue on a 0.08 mm sieve.
Feed Size<20 mm or <25 mmLimit depends on the listed model. These limits must not be applied to the autogenous mill range generally.
Mill Rotating Speed18–30.5 r/minOperating speed varies with the selected mill specification.
Main Motor Power55–1,300 kWInstalled power range for the listed models; motor matching is model-specific.
Drive ArrangementEdge driveSpecified for the models in the published technical table.
Grinding ProcessWet / Dry or wet / DryThe table assigns operating modes by model; the air-swept coal mill is listed for dry grinding.
Listed Air-swept Coal MillΦ2.4 × 4.75 mListed data: 19.25 m³ effective volume, 20.4 r/min, 14 t/h capacity and 280 kW main motor power.
Reference range only. Final configuration is confirmed according to material characteristics, process requirements and operating conditions.View Complete Technical Data

Applications

Application contexts.

Mining mills are used in mineral and industrial material preparation. The application determines the mill type, feed requirements and grinding process.

  • 01Mining & Mineral ProcessingOre grinding within mineral processing lines, with mill selection based on the feed characteristics and required downstream particle size.
  • 02Metallurgical MaterialsGrinding and preparation of mineral materials for metallurgical processes. The published model table includes configurations for calcined bauxite clinker.
  • 03Cement & Building MaterialsRaw material grinding for cement and related material preparation duties, using a configuration matched to the required fineness and process conditions.
  • 04Coal Preparation & PowerCoal grinding using an air-swept coal mill. The published table lists a dry-grinding configuration specifically identified for coal.
